Weekending.

As a SAHM, I live for the weekends! It means I get to sleep in an extra thirty seconds or so; sometimes longer. It means family time, relaxation, and a slower pace of chores and doing things. However, it seems to throw the kids' schedule off and they become....naughtier. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, throw an amen my way.
This morning (all before 9:00 a.m.) Tori took out four packages of butter, unwrapped them, and smashed them into the carpet on the stairs. Elijah built a slide out of his hard back books, and whacked Tori with his road rug, and Cheyenne has been hiding out in her room. She has only come out so far to eat, and antagonize her siblings.
The weekdays are packed with schedules, running kids to school, and other activities. Its predictable and the kids look forward to their clubs, groups, and activities. So when will they begin to enjoy the weekends? When will they enjoy not having anything to per say, do?  Now that we have the fridge locked and the pantry barred, I'm going to attempt to shower and get the kids doing something.
