Never in a million years did I ever imagine that I would be sitting on stage in a church to tell my story (rather God's story) of redemption. Today my husband and I bared our souls, our mistakes, and shared our mess we created for the congregation of New Heights Assembly Church, of York Nebraska. Seven years ago, my life was an absolute mess, I didn't want to live, my marriage was in shambles, and my addictions ran my life. The words of Jeremiah 29:11 resonate deeply in my heart as I reflect on what God has restored. In Him I have so much hope. In Him, I live a life in spite of me. He forgives, redeems, and restores. Below is the link to the site if you would like to watch the message given today. My husband and I were honored to share our mess because it causes hearts to ignite and hope in our awesome, mighty God.  www.nhachurch.com. The key to letting God change your life is to seek Him with all your heart. Let Him be your heart's desire.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.

  1. Brave, brave, brave. Sometimes it's tough for me to admit things to myself, but to entire church? Good for you. I'm sure you'll never know all the lives you touched by being vulnerable.
